The history and development
Hanbaram Wind Power Plant, which was operated in 2021 with 29 wind turbine towers, is an investment by Hanbaram Wind Power Joint Stock Company of the BB Group and is considered one of the larger and higher quality projects in Vietnam’s renewable energy sector.
Hanbaram is the quintessential renewable energy project of BB Group. With the potential to combine wind and solar power components, this is the first factory to help BB Group master wind power technology and brand identity in the regional and international. BB Group will pioneer the application of an operating model in Hanbaram that connects all of its energy plants with Hanbaram to manage and redistribute electricity more efficiently.
The Hanbaram wind power plant was developed with the goal of taking advantage of natural energy sources to produce clean, environmentally friendly energy that does not emit greenhouse gases and maximizes the use of fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas, etc.). Not only get the development needs of the economy and local people’s lives but also ensuring national energy security, contribute to increasing the proportion of energy sources in the National Power System. Furthermore, Hanbaram has reaffirmed Vietnam’s responsibility to its international in jointly protecting the environment and reducing emissions.
