Gio Thanh 2 solar power plant was granted Investment Policy Decision No. 364/QD-UBND by the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province on February 22, 2019, with a total capacity of 50 MWp, a power output: 63.58 MWh/year and a total investment of 1,110 billion VND. The project was started on June 26, 2019 and completed energizing and put into commercial operation officially from December 10, 2020.
